Welcome to Malta!

Welcome to Malta!

It is fantastic here. You will love it. Or well, you may hate it. There is no middle way, I'm afraid.

We do not do anything by halves. Or really we do: half the country is divided one way, the other another. That's the way we do things.

If you're just driving out of the airport, please be careful: every sign leads to nowhere. Somewhere between the 'big roundabout' and the rest of the island you will get hideously lost because our signage only helps those who already know the roads. You will also get lost on the way back. Don't worry about it. Everybody does. And if we honk crazily at you: we're just being communicative.

Those bombs you hear in the background? That's us celebrating. Yey!

And don't even start us on the divorce. We are one of two countries in the world that don't have it. The other country is the Philippines. This is  how we express ourselves.
