Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
TCM, so moved by the current outpouring of maudlin sentimentality, writes a lullaby to Star, The Dog Who Lived. And Then Died.
Star, this one's for you...
Â
Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
Twinkle, twinkle SuperStar
I wonder what your fan groups are.
Are they sober? Are they high?
Will they hang me from my tie?
When the hue and cry is gone,
When the crazy mob moves on,
Wag your tail with all your might,
Tinkle on parked cars all night.
Oh you can’t because you’re ash
Thanks to some nutjobs on hash,
Maudlin sentiments abound
All due to one blessed hound,
Twinkle, twinkle, little star,
Who’da thought it’d go so far    Â
No more pain, bitchez so fly
Chillin wid Jeezus in the sky.
‘Cept you can’t do that either,
‘Coz our Catholic faith so queer,
Teaches that you lack a soul
Still it beats being in that hole.
I’ll be honest, Star you’re dead
and your loony friends up of,
I’m fed.

@Jeremy
also not if the bear is a Carebear, Yogi Bear, Paddington Bear or Rupert Bear.
And if said Bear were a Bear Jew, it'd be teaching a lesson in brutality. But I digress...
Agreed. Valid point there, Jeremy.
@Jeremy
Well, not if the bear is a panda
The sadness of the story is how brutal people can be... but I've been saying since the beginning, had it not been a pet-like animal (say a bear) I doubt we'd have had half the fuss we have now.
