Eyebrow Threading: We finally find another Threader!
Mona Farrugia is relieved that after months of waiting, during which time she grew huge bushes, she has found another threader.
Some months ago I ran a tiny Beauty Review on planetmona lauding the wonders of eyebrow threading.
Threading does hurt the delicate area around the eyes, where the skin is paper thin. It does not give you pigmentations, which waxing does (frankly you should never, ever let anybody touch your face with wax to depilate you). Obviously it does not leave those horrible green-speckled-with-black patches which shaving does. Yes, there are women who still shave their eyebrows: I can't hardly believe it either.
Threading lasts a long time, is gentle and best of all, works with your skin rather than against it. If somebody tells you that threading hurts it is because they would have gone to somebody who has no idea what they're doing.
I have finally found someone in Malta who threads: her name is Dorianne and she runs the Ayur Veda salon in Sta. Venera. The salon is right across that horrid bridge which goes over the bypass. Scary. Dorianne is not though: she is gentle, and very, very good at what she does. Her training was done in the lovely Kerala, in southern India. If that were not enough she charges 4 euro. It's a five minute job but the last person I had found in Malta was charging a whopping 10 euro for it so hey, I thought I'd share.

Thanks for sharing Mona :) personally i knew of no professional who used the threading technique instead of the usual waxing, so this is a great find!
